In Spring 2016, I was part of a team of JMU students who participated in the Marketing EDGE Collegiate ECHO Challenge through Dr. Theresa Clarke’s Integrated Marketing Communications course. Our challenge was to create an integrated marketing communications plan for Facebook’s Custom Audiences.
Out of 225+ entries and 30 semifinalists, our team (Ubique Consulting) earned the 3rdplace Bronze Award. The competition was judged by 58 seasoned marketing industry professionals from companies such as Domino’s Pizza, Ernst & Young, Fidelity Investments, The Fossil Group and World Vision International.

This past summer I had the pleasure of studying International Logistics and Supply Management in Panama and Colombia. In this project we teamed up with students from the Universidad Tecnologica de Bolivar (UTB) to develop an avocado-based product made in Colombia. Our team decided to develop an avocado based deep conditioner to be distributed and marketed in the United States and Colombia.
